Experience

  • Lead the strategy, creation, and scheduling of content for notable clients across the golf industry, including:

    • PGA TOUR: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, World Wide Technology Championship, PNC Championship

    • LPGA: Chevron Championship, Mizuho Americas Open, Kroger Queen City Championship, Epson Tour

    • LIV Golf League: RangeGoats GC

    • PGA TOUR Champions: PURE Insurance Championship, Constellation Furyk & Friends, Simmons Bank Championship

    • Players: Bubba Watson, Keegan Bradley, and more

    Serve as on-site content lead for tournament clients, driving year-over-year growth across engagement, follower count, video views and impressions for every tournament client managed.

  • • Managed all communications material for the Championship Department. This included, but was not limited to: Writing press releases for Championships. Creating content for all of the TGA social media accounts. Attending championships across Texas and serving as the communications staff on site, which included writing daily recaps of tournament play, interviews, photography and serving as the direct media contact.

    • Collaborated on sponsorship and digital advertising marketing strategies - business development

    • General feature writing assignments for website, digital magazine and printed newsletter, as assigned.

    • Assisted USGA, US Open, US Women’s Open, Golf Channel, Golf Digest, and others with their communication efforts in this role.

  • Assisted NBC Sports/PGA Tour Entertainment’s on-course reporter during the live TV broadcast of various PGA TOUR/Korn Ferry events in Texas. Duties included providing the on-course reporter with transportation around the facility, local knowledge of the course, and yardages for shots of the players in featured group coverage for NBC Sports.

  • • Scheduled and created content for all social platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook). Captured photos/videos at all official Southern Texas PGA tournaments. Wrote recaps after completion of tournaments. Conducted interviews with PGA professionals for articles and videos.

    • Worked with sponsors such as PGA Tour Superstore and Srixon Golf to promote their brand via digital media and on-site at tournaments.

  • Pursued and developed stories independently and for assignment, covering a range of topics within Boerne sports community. Performed research and checked all facts to maintain a high standard of journalistic integrity. Wrote, edited and produced stories 2x a week for multiple platforms, including website and digital channels. Created the ‘Boerne Star Sports’ instagram and twitter accounts which are still being used today.
